A new vulnerability that impacts devices and applications that use Java has been identified in Log4j, the open-source Apache logging library. In this whitepaper, we will discuss and let developers and support teams know of library versions that were impacted and how to apply the patch to the libraries to overcome this issue in java-based applications.
Log4Shell is a high-impact vulnerability that is easy for attackers to exploit and has far-reaching consequences on the industry. In this document, we have discussed log4j2 vulnerability and some detection and prevention strategies for this vulnerability.
