Most organizations embrace a multi-cloud and hybrid approach for their businesses. This gives them entire paybacks of their on-premises investments, the ability to transform using cloud technologies, and the ability to evade vendor lock-in.

Azure Arc extends the Azure Resource Manager capabilities to Kubernetes clusters on any infrastructure across on-premises and multi-cloud. You can use Azure Arc to run Azure data services anywhere, which always includes up-to-date data capabilities, deployment in seconds, and dynamic scalability on any infrastructure.

With Azure Arc, you can manage machines that are hosted outside of Azure. When these machines are connected to Azure using Azure Arc for servers, they turn out to be Connected Machines, and they will be treated as native resources in Azure.
