The client was looking for a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Consulting & Link partner to develop a cartridge that would connect Brightcove’s Online Video Hosting platform with Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

    Royal Cyber partnered with Brightcove and developed a custom cartridge that allows merchandisers, business managers and marketing teams to use all its features i.e., Adding and Uploading Videos to Brightcove Online Video Platform, Assign Videos to Products & Categories etc., from within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager. This cartridge is easily downloadable, installable and available for Salesforce Commerce Cloud SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture) & SGJC (SiteGenesis JavaScript Controllers) versions.

      Increased manual efforts to add and upload videos to products and categories
      Rendering videos on different positions of the pages proved to be a challenging task
      Adding videos in multiple locales was a huge challenge.
      Additional custom coding was required to assign videos based on their locales
      Inefficient and re-working of code required to enhance the solution with new features

      Add, upload, assign and embed videos with just clicks and without any code interference
      New customers can start using the cartridge within hours
      Used OOTB SFCC Business Manager to work with all features of the cartridge
      Configure the position and placement of the rendered videos on the page using the configuration panel created within SFCC Business Manager.
