  1. Intelligent Selling Services (ISS)

Intelligent Selling Services (ISS) for SAP Commerce Cloud provides real-time personalization through Recommendations and Merchandising product carousels to drive customer loyalty and improve conversion rates. It also provides testing, reporting and management tooling to understand, monitor and improve personalization performance. Some of the recent enhancements include:

  • Product Recommendation Carousels – Display trending, related, personalized, and recently viewed products
  • A/B Testing – Test Product Recommendation Carousels against one another to establish the top performing products on the site
  • Multi-Site Support – Artificial Intelligence-powered merchandising capabilities can be used on multiple sites on one instance
  • Dashboard Tiles – Get an overview of the site via a new start page displaying the status of tracking, catalog synchronization and Machine Learning training
  1. Themes and Branding

Easily change and align a site to match the branding strategies. Users can configure the Themes and Branding in the Backoffice and set an organizational theme or allow individual users to select their own theme. Backoffice provides two default themes, SAP Quartz Light and SAP Quartz Dark. Apart from these options, users can also create up to 10 additional custom themes based on one of the two default themes. Additionally, they can replace the default SAP Logo with an image of their own choice in the login page and shell bar. Themes and Branding allows businesses to create a sleek and consistent look with customizable UI themes and logos, offering customers a rich experience with advanced components and navigation buttons.

  1. Secure Data and Processes

While creating or editing user profiles, Environment Permissions in Commerce Cloud can be upgraded from a subscription-based model to a flexible environment-based model access to separate access for specific environments such as development and production. Businesses can also increase security by defining and restricting access for certain users and introduce a 2-factor authentication.

For customers who own a privately hosted infrastructure or have higher security requirements than using a secured publicly available Git repository, Private Git Support allows to connect private code repository to SAP Commerce Cloud for added security and protection from external threats and risks. Major framework and library upgrades including Java, Mockito, Groovy, allow enhanced security, improved maintainability, support, and new feature, language, and syntax capabilities.

  1. Omni Commerce Connect (OCC) APIs

Offering Headless Commerce support, SAP Commerce Cloud’s recent release includes new Omni Commerce Connect (OCC) APIs, that enables businesses to gain agility and build engaging, new experiences using a headless commerce approach. Some of the new APIs introduced include:

  • Future Stock – Informs when the new stock will arrive
  • B2B Registration – Allows users to force early login on the B2B storefront and enables B2B-account users to self-register
  • Punchout – Enables to make purchases from the site but send the order back to the procurement system

With new capabilities added to Project Spartacus, SAP Commerce Cloud’s angular-based JavaScript storefront allows businesses to de-risk projects and achieve a lower total cost of ownership (TCO) by updating the frontend independently of the core commerce platform. Deliver rich buying experiences through new visualization capabilities. The enhancements include:

  • SAP Enterprise Product Development (EPD) Visualization Integration provides Spartacus for visual picking of spare parts using 2D or 3D models when ordering replacements parts
  • Product Image Zoom is now supported
  • Quick and Bulk Order allows users to add multiple items to their cart quickly
  • B2B Inventory Display allows merchants to control the display of stock visible for a category of products or for the entire storefront

Order Integration is improved to integrate Order Capture for B2B Storefront Users with SAP S/4HANA to combine a digital experience for B2B storefront users with feature-rich and comprehensive business rules in SAP S/4HANA Sales.

  1. SAP Order Management Foundation Integration

Create a central hub to connect and isolate all sales channels and fulfillment locations with SAP Order Management Foundation Integration and gain performance insights to manage omnichannel business performance.

  1. Integration Extension Pack

Leverage additional integration benefits including the Integration Extension Pack such as:
